Something not working?
The robot doesn't turn on
- Check that the switch is set to ON.
- Take the batteries out and put them back the right way round.
- Try fresh batteries: weak ones light the LED but never turn the wheels.
One wheel doesn't turn
- Lift the robot and turn the wheel by hand.
- Look at the motor wire: it must be pushed all the way in.
- Swap the two motors over to find out whether it is the motor or the board.
The computer can't find my robot
- Change the cable: many cables only charge.
- Plug it straight into the computer, without a USB hub.
- Switch the robot off and on, then reload the page.
For parents & teachers
- Each lesson takes 10 to 25 minutes with the robot in hand.
- Nothing to install: it all runs in the browser, and lessons print.
- Work is saved on this device, even without an account.
