Something not working?
Pick what’s happening: we’ll sort it out together, step by step.
For every kit
My robot won’t turn on
- Look at the switch: slide it to OFF, then back to ON.
- Ask a grown-up to check the batteries, or charge the robot with its cable.
- Wait a minute, then try again.
The app can’t find my kit
- Check your robot is on, and put it right next to the tablet or phone.
- It may already be connected to another device: switch it off, then on again.
- Close the app completely, open it again, and search again.
The app shows the wrong robot
- Disconnect the robot in the app, then search again.
- If another robot is switched on in the room, turn it off while you connect.
- Switch your robot off, back on, and search once more.
It was working, then it stopped
- Switch the robot off, count to ten, then switch it back on.
- Close the app and open it again.
- If it happens again, ask a grown-up to reinstall the robot’s program at flash.mobot.dz.
I can’t flash my robot
- Flashing is a job to do with a grown-up.
- Check the USB cable is plugged in properly at both ends, into a computer.
- Open flash.mobot.dz with Chrome or Edge: the site explains what to install if the computer can’t see the robot (the driver).

A wheel isn’t turning (or my robot goes in circles)
- Put the car on a smooth, flat floor — not on a thick carpet.
- Look for a hair or a thread wound around the wheel, and remove it gently.
- With a grown-up, check that the motor wires are plugged in properly.
- Switch the car off, back on, then try again.
