For the kit Smart Car

A wheel isn’t turning (or my robot goes in circles)
1. Put the car on a smooth, flat floor — not on a thick carpet.
2. Look for a hair or a thread wound around the wheel, and remove it gently.
3. With a grown-up, check that the motor wires are plugged in properly.
4. Switch the car off, back on, then try again.

For every kit

My robot won’t turn on
1. Look at the switch: slide it to OFF, then back to ON.
2. Ask a grown-up to check the batteries, or charge the robot with its cable.
3. Wait a minute, then try again.

The app can’t find my kit
1. Check your robot is on, and put it right next to the tablet or phone.
2. It may already be connected to another device: switch it off, then on again.
3. Close the app completely, open it again, and search again.
The app still can’t find it? Ask a grown-up to contact MoBot: mobot.dz
The app shows the wrong robot
1. Disconnect the robot in the app, then search again.
2. If another robot is switched on in the room, turn it off while you connect.
3. Switch your robot off, back on, and search once more.
The app still gets it wrong? Ask a grown-up to contact MoBot: mobot.dz
It was working, then it stopped
1. Switch the robot off, count to ten, then switch it back on.
2. Close the app and open it again.
3. If it happens again, ask a grown-up to reinstall the robot’s program at flash.mobot.dz.

I can’t flash my robot
1. Flashing is a job to do with a grown-up.
2. Check the USB cable is plugged in properly at both ends, into a computer.
3. Open flash.mobot.dz with Chrome or Edge: the site explains what to install if the computer can’t see the robot (the driver).
